Primers!!

Primers are one of the most important steps in my makeup routine. Not only do they help your makeup stay on longer but they also help smooth out foundation.
Below are my favorite makeup primers!
If you aren't using a primer, you should be and I'm here to tell you why.

1.)  Smashbox photo finish lid primer- $20
I love this primer for the eyes because it helps with creasing and eyeshadow blends in well using this. You can find this at Sephora.

2.) Too Faced Shadow Insurance - $20
A great thing about this eye lid primer is that a little goes a long way. This primer helps to smooth the eye lid to give shadow a good base. Available at Sephora.

3.) Too Faced Primed and Poreless- $30
This face primer is designed to be worn with or without makeup. If you want to go for a natural look this is a great place to start. Infused with vitamin A and C.  There is also a version for sensitive skin. Found a Sephora.

4.) Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer-$9
This is my newest primer and it was made for evening out skin tone. It also gives you a little bit of glow so it is perfect for Spring and Summer. www.pixibeauty.com

5.) Laura Mercier Radiance Bronze-$33
Laura Mercier has many face primers so if you don't want one with a tint to it than you have more options. What I love about this primer is that it bronzes the face without looking orange or like your foundation is too dark. It hydrates and has Vitamins A,C, and E. I got mine at Sephora.

6.) Girl Meets Pearl by Benefit -$30 or 3 mini pack for $18
This is actually a unique product because it's meant to be worn over foundation or alone to give a pearlessence. I love to wear it on the cheek bones and down the bridge of my nose. Found at Sephora or Ulta.

7.) POREfessional by Benefit-$31 or 3 mini pack for $18
Okay, this is by far my favorite primer. The POREfessional hides any pores on my face       and smooths out dry patches. This is a great product for women with fine lines and wrinkles because it will literally minimize them! I cannot get enough of it! If you are going to a special event where you'll take photos this is a great product to use. Not to mention the staying power of this product is FABULOUS! I would pay fifty bucks if I had to because this stuff is that good! Found at Sephora or Ulta.

8.) Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer- $10-$49
Smashbox has tons ans tons of primers for everything you could think of but this one is for flash photography. I love it so much because it makes my face velvety smooth and the formula supports natural collagen and fills in fine lines and pores for a flawless finish. You can get a mini for ten bucks which is perfect for one time use like proms and weddings. Found at Sephora.

The Best of Drugstore Edition

You don't have to be a millionaire to look like one.

The seasons are changing and your beauty
routine will more than likely change as well.
As you look in your wallet, don't panic! I
have the best picks the drugstore has to
offer. Not only will your wallet thank you
 but your face will too!
The Best of Drugstore Edition

1.) Sonia Kashuk Concealer
Not only is this a great concealer but you don't have to worry about touch ups throughout the day because the coverage is on point. You can find one like this at target.

2.) L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara
Drugstore or not, this mascara is trusted by professional makeup artist everywhere to give beautiful big lashes. You can purchase at any drugstore.

3.) L'Oreal Eyeliner

I actually prefer this eyeliner over any other eyeliner  I've ever used. Why? It has staying power which is important because you won't have to worry about it smudging. Available at any drugstore.

4.) NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer

Since it's warming up, you don't want to look like you're stuck inside. This bronzer is just enough to bring you that summer glow without looking orange. Available at most drugstores.

5.) NYX Butter Gloss

These lip glosses have made a name for themselves this year because of their buttery feel and opaqueness. If you're like me, I love bright and shiny lipglosses and these are everything I could possibly ask for in a lip gloss. Available at Ulta or some Target's.

6.) Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation

All I need to say is you will be checking the jar because you won't believe you bought this at the drugstore. I vote this THE best foundation at the drugstore. Creamy and stays all day. You'll want to sleep in it.

7.)  L'Oreal Miracle Blur

I think you'll prefer this primer over all the others with its pore vanishing technology.

8.) NYX Powder Blush

I never think of NYX products as drugstore makeup but it is! Luxury quality with a cheap price. These blushes will brighten and freshen your face. Available at Ulta or some Target's.

9.) NYX Sparkle Eyeshadow Palate
Again, you would never know this was drugstore because the quality of these shadows are amazing! I own many and I keep going back for more. Available and Ulta and some Target's.

As always, thank you for spending a little time with me today. And remember,I'm not just a Blonde, I'm Beyond it.

March Favorites

This month was full of crazy weather. It went from freezing to scorching and with that my skincare routine changed constantly but my love for these products stayed the same!

1.) The first product is Purity face wash by Philosophy.
This is my holy grail face wash because it doesn't strip my face of its natural oils and it actually moisturizes.

2.) Selsun Blue
No! I do not have dandruff but I have rosacea. This shampoo actually helps rosacea and makes dull skin look fresh and feels baby soft. Leave on for 5-10 minutes a day and watch your redness fade away.

3.) Double wear foundation- Estee Lauder
This foundation is a life saver! I have heard a lot of hype around this makeup and now I know why. The coverage is amazing and my pores vanish! It also is not drying and stays on all day!

4.) Porefessional primer- Benefit cosmetics
As you know by now I have rosacea. Redness is my enemy and makeup can look splotchy on cheeks and nose. This primer is holy grail status! After I apply, my pores look like they do not exist and my foundation lays smoothly on my face.

5.) The Naked Palette- Urban Decay
Having blue eyes you can never go wrong with taupes and browns. This is the perfect eyeshadow palette because if you go on a trip you don't have to pack several eyeshadows because you have 12 colors which is perfect  for any combination for almost any eye look.

6.) Creme Cup lipstick- Mac cosmetics
Mac cosmetics are known for their crazy colors but they also have great basics too. Creme cup is a beautiful  pinky nude and goes well with almost every makeup look. It is also creamy and smells amazing too!

7.) Ipsy subscription box
Last but not least is not just one item. I joined Ipsy in January and it is a beauty box that is only 10 dollars a month. You get 5-6 samples of high-end makeup and skincare brands. I recently received a Bareminerals lipstick that probably paid for itself.

Thanks for spending a little time of your day with me! Come back for more entries! I have new blogs everyday! And remember, I'm beyond more than just a blonde ;)
